Our wedding dresses range from about $1,500 to approximately $15,000+. Your stylist will work closely with you to ensure you are comfortable with the price range of gowns selected.
It takes approximately 7 to 10 months for a dress to arrive, so please consider that when scheduling your appointment. Once the dress arrives, you want to allow one to two months for alterations.
We ideally recommend beginning the wedding dress shopping process nine months to one year prior to your wedding date so you can avoid rush fees and enjoy the experience! If you are unsure if you will be able to order a gown due to a shorter engagement, we invite you to schedule an appointment so that we can talk through some rush-shipping options
in more detail.
We also offer off the rack sales of our pristine collection of dresses should you have a limited timeframe.
We have samples in a wide variety of sizes in store, from size 6, as well as samples in curvy and plus sizes up to size 28 ready for you to try on.
In most cases, yes. We have sample gowns in a variety of sizes. We keep our dresses in pristine condition and can order your special gown based on your specific measurements; however, if you are short on time, we can sell directly from our rack.
We recommend bringing ordinary undergarments and a strapless bra, which will allow you to better view the intended neckline of a gown. We have robes available to you in the fitting rooms, so you can feel covered and comfortable in between trying on dresses.
We know that shopping for a wedding gown is a once-in-a-lifetime experience and finding “the one” should be a special, memorable moment, shared with your closest family and friends. Most of our brides have success bringing anywhere from one to four guests to accompany them on their search. We would love for you to bring whoever’s opinions you value and trust the most and try to keep to no more than 4-5 people.
We do offer VIP appointments, where in those cases we have additional space for more guests if needed. We ultimately want you to feel confident and gorgeous when you stand in front of the mirror in one of our gowns because we think every woman should experience the pure joy of finding her dream dress with the people she loves by her side to forever share in her special moment.
Each bridal appointment is 60 minutes in length. When making your appointment, we ask some questions as to styles and silhouettes you like as well as any favorites you’ve already tried on. These questions allow us to prepare before your arrival and will allow you enough time to meet with our stylist, determine your wedding dress style, and try on six to eight gowns, narrow down your selection and make an educated decision on which dress is “the one”.
We never want you to feel rushed and will walk you through the process in a calm and stress-free fashion.
In addition, we offer exclusive VIP Experience appointments that are longer in length and have many added benefits.
Yes, we prefer that you make an appointment so we can ensure one of our bridal stylists is available to assist you. An appointment will also guarantee you a private fitting room and seating for your guests. To make an appointment, please visit our Appointment Page or call us at 908-526-3134.
When ordering a wedding dress, veil or accessories from White House Bride you are welcome to pay the full amount or we offer the option of 60% down payment at ordering and the balance can be paid upon pick up or divided up into payments (whichever is most convenient to you). The full amount must be paid upon the dress arriving and your pick up.
When purchasing anything directly off the store rack, the purchase must be paid in full at that time.
We accept most major credit cards, (Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express) as well as cash or personal check. Please note final payment must be with either cash or credit card.
Yes! We have an amazing team of seamstresses in house that have been working in the bridal industry for several decades. These amazing women are trained in the various silhouettes and delicate fabrics that are synonymous with wedding dresses and have the experience in bustling and custom changes to make your dress fit exactly to your body. You are of course welcome to use your own Seamstress off-site should you have a favorite.
